Pauline Delaney

After many years working for a national firm of patent and trade mark attorneys, Pauline brings a wealth of IP knowledge and administrative procedures and policies to her role at Franke Hyland. Prior to moving to Australia in 1993, Pauline spent her early career working in a diverse variety of industries in the UK, including asset taxation, typesetting and the recording industry. Pauline has a solid background assisting with complex patent prosecution oppositions and disputes. She is an experienced user of the Patricia IP management software system.

Pauline further draws on her vast experience working with people, mentoring and supporting junior staff, to bring her own unique style of professionalism, discretion and a positive hands-on approach to her role as our Practice Manager.

 

 

Andrew Hunter

With nearly 20 years administrative experience working for SME organisations in industries as diverse as Environmental Consulting, Organisational Psychology and Executive Recruitment, Andrew was already the quintessential "all-rounder" when he was recruited to work for an intellectual property attorney five years ago.

Andrew brings a breadth of knowledge and technical skills to Franke Hyland, from client reception to administering our in-house database and website. His IP experience includes: Australian patent filing for innovation, provisional, complete and national phase applications; Australian trade mark and design filing; New Zealand patent, trade mark and design filing; completing and filing PCT Request and Demand forms; use of both Patricia and Inprotech databases for tasks such as matter creation, accurate recordal and monitoring of dates and updating workflows; management of term lists (daily reminders); receiving and recording official documentation; payment of renewals and annuities; and Opposition and Infringments.
